Executive Session pursuant to Texas Government Code § 551.071 and Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct Rule 1.05 to consult with attorneys concerning legal issues related to the City Charter and potential changes thereto, including, but not limited to questions related to past and/or potential litigation related to the U.S. Voting Rights Act, Abel Alonzo, et al. v. Luther Jones, et al., and other lawsuits and reported appellate cases concerning elections, candidate eligibility, term limits, compensation, initiative, referendum, and other municipal charter related legal issues.
