Title: Purchase of Six (6) Side Loading Refuse Trucks for city-wide automated collection process (Requires 2/3 vote) Motion approving the lease-purchase of six (6) side-loading refuse trucks from Rush Truck Centers of Texas LP, Houston, Texas for a total amount of $1,576,127.60 of which $84,438.57 is required for the remainder of FY 2012-2013. The award is based on the cooperative purchasing agreement with the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative (TLGPC). All units are replacements to the fleet and will be used by the Solid Waste Department. Financing for the lease-purchase of the vehicles will be provided through the City's lease-purchase financing program.
